September 10-12:  BeBlogolicious -- Baltimore MD
Hope you are registered because it starts today!

September 12:  Curbside Cookoff -- 1st and M Sts NE DC
Curbside Cookoff is back and bigger than ever, featuring food trucks, fashion trucks, local beer, artisans market, kids zone, FTA All Star Awards, and live secret ingredient chef battles in the East Coast Customs Arena.

September 12th:  Community Forklift:  This Old Warehouse 2015:  Fall Festival and Vintage Tools
They are celebrating all things vintage, antique, and well-loved!  Featuring:  Preservation Experts, Tradespeople and Free Workshops! Old-Timey Bands, Food Trucks and Snacks! And a rare opportunity to view our large selection of Vintage Tools – normally sold only online! The reuse warehouse is located at 4671 Tanglewood Drive in Edmonston MD – just 5 minutes from the DC line, near the Hyattsville Arts District.

September 27:  Natutalista Hair Show -- Silver Spring MD
Per the website:  "This expo teaches women of color how to care for their natural hair and live healthy lives while embracing the right to remain fabulous.”

October 4:  The 4.01K Race for Retirement by Prudential
This race for Retirement Awareness is a 4.01 kilometer (2.49 mile) fun run and festival to help take on America’s Retirement Challenge. There will be food, games and a free concert courtesy of Pandora. It’s free. It’s local (at RFK Stadium). And it’s shorter than a 5k (for all those who think a 5k is too long), and it truly promotes a good message.

October 4:  Takoma Park Street Festival -- Takoma MD
The Takoma Park Street Festival takes place on a mile stretch of Carroll Avenue in Takoma Park, MD to Carroll Street, NW in Takoma, DC with over 200 artisans, community groups, children’s activities, food vendors, music, and a variety of green companies.

October 10:  Taste of DC -- Washington DC

Thanks for this list. I never knew there was a Taste of DC! I'm planning to register for the 4.01K, especially since it's shorter than a 5K! :-)
